Article 1 – Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, deliveries, services and activities of Vloerhuis Nederland, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any terms and conditions used by the customer are expressly rejected unless Vloerhuis Nederland has accepted them in writing.

Additional terms and conditions—for example for installation, custom work or business projects—form an integral part of these terms and conditions.
Article 2 – Images, samples and examples

All photos, samples, sample panels, color images, and online product representations are for illustrative purposes only. Colors, textures, and nuances may vary from the final product.

Samples provide an approximation of the design but do not show all possible color variations within a collection. Deviations cannot be grounds for cancellation or compensation.

Color or material samples can be made available upon request, while supplies last.
Article 3 – Prices and quotations

All communicated prices are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Vloerhuis Nederland reserves the right to change prices in the event of obvious errors (printing, typing, or programming errors).

Quotes are provided upon request only and are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

Dimensions, quantities, and information in a quote are as accurate as possible. The customer remains responsible for providing accurate, verified information.
Article 4 – Conclusion of the agreement

An agreement is concluded as soon as the customer receives written confirmation or when the customer carries out an order, assignment or makes a down payment.

Products that are produced or purchased to order (custom-made, special colours or batch-related products) cannot be changed or cancelled after confirmation.

Vloerhuis Nederland may refuse orders or only accept them under additional conditions.
Article 5 – Warranty

All products are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty as provided by the manufacturer.

The warranty does not apply if damage is caused by:

incorrect, injudicious or careless use
-
incorrect placement or installation
-
moisture or water damage
-
failure to follow laying, maintenance or climate instructions
-
processing damaged or incorrect planks
-

If repairs are carried out due to causes attributable to the customer, all costs will be charged to the customer.

The warranty covers materials only and never additional costs such as installation, removal, relocation or consequential damage.
Article 6 – Liability

Vloerhuis Nederland's liability is limited to the amount paid out in a specific case by the manufacturer or insurance company, with a maximum of €150.

Vloerhuis Nederland is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, lost income or delays in execution.
-
Liability expires if instructions are not followed.
Article 7 – Ownership and use

Until full payment has been made, the delivered material remains the property of Vloerhuis Nederland, if applicable.

The customer is responsible for proper storage, acclimatization, humidity control and installation according to the guidelines.
Article 8 – Copyright

All texts, photos, and other content from Vloerhuis Nederland are protected by copyright.

It is not permitted to copy, publish or use these materials without written permission.

In case of violation, legal action will follow.
Article 9 – Force Majeure

Force majeure means any circumstance that makes performance of the agreement temporarily or permanently impossible, such as: illness, staff shortages, fire, disruptions, delivery problems from suppliers, transport problems, extreme weather conditions or government measures.

In the event of force majeure, the customer cannot claim compensation. A reasonable new term will be proposed, or the agreement will be (partially) terminated.
Article 10 – Complaints

Any complaints must be reported in writing within a reasonable period of time after detection.

The right to repair expires if the customer makes changes themselves, processes products incorrectly or does not follow maintenance instructions.
Article 11 – Disputes and applicable law
-
Dutch law applies to all agreements and transactions.
-
Disputes will be submitted exclusively to the court within the district of our place of business.
