The Herringbone Rustic Oak Smoked Natural Oiled floor is easy to maintain and will retain its warm, characterful appearance for years with proper use.

The best way to remove dust and dirt is by regularly vacuuming with a parquet brush or cleaning with a soft dust cloth. This prevents sand particles from damaging the oil finish.

For weekly maintenance, use a slightly damp microfiber mop and a suitable wood floor cleaner specifically designed for oiled floors. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, all-purpose cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or abrasives, as these can damage the oil and smoke treatment.

Be careful not to mop too wet; excess water can damage the wood top layer and cause the seams to swell.

Place felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches and use doormats at entrances to keep out sand and moisture.

Because the floor is oiled, it requires periodic maintenance (depending on usage) with a maintenance oil. This nourishes the wood, fills in any micro-scratches, and strengthens the protective layer, extending the lifespan of the floor and keeping it looking beautiful.
